The Visitor Information Centre (VIC) will be temporarily relocating to new premises at the former Seriously Chocolate cafe in the Strand Arcade on Monday 11 May 2026 while overdue renovation works are carried out.
To facilitate the move, the VIC will be closed from 8 to 10 May 2026, while furniture, shop fittings, and stock are transferred to the new premises.
The Visitor Information Centre is currently scheduled to reopen at its new location on Monday, 11 May 2026.
Council will endeavour to minimise disruptions to VIC services during this period. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to welcoming visitors and the community to the VIC’s new space.
