Service Reviews

Norfolk Island Regional Council (Council) is committed to delivering quality and efficient services that meet the needs and expectations of our community. To support this commitment, Council commenced Service Reviews in mid-2025 to assess performance, identify improvement opportunities and ensure resources are used responsibly.

In delivering services to the community, Council must ensure that the services:

  • strategically align with Council’s vision, statutory obligations, and community priorities
  • are delivered in an efficient, effective, and financially sustainable manner
  • are adaptable and responsive to performance insights, operational risks, and evolving community needs.

Each review is informed by data analysis, legislative requirements, operational insights and feedback from stakeholders and the community. The outcomes guide future planning and support evidence‑based decision‑making across Council.
