Service Reviews Are Available Online

Norfolk Island Regional Council (Council) commenced reviews of its services in mid-2025 to examine service delivery, identify improvement opportunities and support responsible use of council resources.

In delivering services to the community, Council seeks to ensure that the services:

  • strategically align with Council’s vision, statutory obligations, and community priorities
  • are delivered in an efficient, effective, and financially sustainable manner
  • are adaptable and responsive to operational pressures, risks, and evolving community needs.

Each review draws on operational information, compliance obligations, staff input and feedback from stakeholders. The outcomes guide future planning and support evidence‑based decision‑making across Council.

Some of the Service Reviews are completed and are now available on the Council’s website for public viewing, with more reviews to be published as they are completed.
