Norfolk Island Regional Council has published two service reviews online. The Electricity (Version 2) and Roads Service Reviews were formally presented to the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 29 April 2026. These reviews undertake a thorough analysis of each of the Council Services and outlines the current service model, key operating constraints and the main matters relevant to future service planning and sustainability. All completed service reviews are publicly available on Council’s website here: Service Reviews. The Electricity Service Review was updated to include the recommendations from the Electricity Special Purpose Committee. Together, these reviews will play an important role in informing Council’s future planning documents, including the development of the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework, and will directly contribute to the 2026–27 Operational Plan and future strategic documents.
