Council acknowledges outgoing Cth Administrator of Norfolk Island

Norfolk Island Regional Council (Council) would like to acknowledge the current Administrator of Norfolk Island, George Plant, as he approaches the conclusion of his term of appointment.

Council thanks Mr Plant for his dedication and service to the Norfolk Island community during his three-year term, which commenced in June 2023.

The Australian Government has appointed Fiona McKergow as the new Administrator of Norfolk Island, following a merit-based selection process.

Council looks forward to welcoming Ms McKergow, who will commence her term on 1 June 2026.
