Waste Management Centre Team has continued its efforts to improve the presentation of the facility, recently planting more than 40 new plants in the garden bed near the site's front gate.
The landscaping work forms part of the team's ongoing commitment to maintaining a clean, welcoming and well-presented facility for the community. In addition to planting new greenery, staff have been working on a range of improvements across the site, including better signage and general site improvement works.
Waste Management Team Leader, Ashutosh Narayan, said the initiative reflects the team's commitment to improving the community’s experience at the Waste Management Centre.
“Our team had the opportunity to work with Joel Quintal on these projects over the past few months, and we were glad to finally get the chance to make this one happen,” he said.
“It's an idea we're keen to keep building on. The team is all on board, and we're looking forward to chipping away at more of these projects over time to make the Waste Management Centre a cleaner, more presentable place for the community.”
The team plans to dedicate a couple of hours each month to undertake similar improvement projects, with a focus on enhancing the site's appearance, accessibility and overall presentation.
