Norfolk Island Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified/experienced candidates to fill three (3) vacancies on the Strategic Finance Improvement Committee (SFIC). As a member of the SFIC, you will have an opportunity to play an important role in developing, implementing and monitoring the financial issues facing Council and the community. The Committee currently comprises of Council’s Lead Administrator, Financial Administrator, Acting General Manager and two (2) community members. The Committee generally meets once per month, currently on a Thursday, this may change in the future and will be discussed with members. The Committee will run for the period of Council’s administration. Council’s Administrators are satisfied with the progress of SFIC to date, noting the Committee’s simplified approach and focus on set topics during meetings. To accommodate members’ availability, meetings may be held after hours where preferred, to support those who work full-time during the day.
