Salary: $66,314 per annum + 12% Superannuation (pro rata for part-time position)
Employment Type: Part-Time (30 hours per week) or Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Lead, coordinate and make an impact in a vital Council service

Norfolk Island Regional Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our Liquor Bond team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee daily warehouse operations while supporting customer service, compliance, and staff coordination.

About the Role

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Liquor Bond warehouse, ensuring stock control, compliance, and service delivery standards are met.

You’ll lead and support warehouse staff, coordinate workflows, and contribute to a positive, safe, and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receipting, storage, and dispatch of stock
  • Coordinate staff, workloads, and priorities to meet operational demands
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements and liquor regulations
  • Maintain accurate stock records and support stocktakes
  • Use Council systems to record operational and inventory data
  • Support customer service operations as required
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and team-focused work environment

    About You

    You are dependable and physically capable, with a strong focus on safety. You bring:

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or similar operational roles
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership capability
  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid forklift licence (Hight Risk work Licence) or forklift competency (mandatory)
