Salary: $70,460 per annum + 12% Superannuation

Norfolk Island Regional Council is seeking a skilled Executive Assistant to provide vital support to the General Manager and Council’s Administrators. Based in a dynamic and unique island setting, this role will see you coordinating day-to-day executive functions, liaising with stakeholders, preparing high-quality documents, managing travel and meetings, and helping Council run smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level executive support including calendar, travel, and meeting coordination
- Draft correspondence, briefings, reports and presentation materials
- Assist in preparing Business Papers, Committee agendas and meeting minutes
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the General Manager
- Manage Council’s electric vehicle fleet and coordinate meeting spaces and hospitality
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with Council systems and policies
About You
- You’re organised, discreet, and proactive – a natural problem solver
- You have experience supporting executives or senior managers
- You write clearly and professionally, and can juggle competing priorities
- You bring strong skills in Microsoft Office (experience in Resolve, Canva or SharePoint is a plus)
- You have a relevant qualification in Business Administration or experience in doing a similar role
