Norfolk Island Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified/experienced candidates for five (5) voluntary Committee Member roles on the newly constituted Strategic Finance Improvement Committee (SFIC).
The SFIC is an opportunity to have a role in addressing the financial issues facing Council and the community. More detailed information is available in the Call for EOIs and the Committee Terms of Reference.
The Committee is comprised of Council’s Lead Administrator, Financial Administrator, Acting General Manager and five (5) Committee Members. Each Committee Member will have a background or experience in one or more of the following areas:
The SFIC will meet once per month, with the standard duration of each meeting expected to be one to two hours. The terms of the Committee Members will run concurrently with the period of Council’s administration. It is anticipated that the first meeting of the Committee will be held in late-January 2026.
