Norfolk Island Regional Council (Council) is informing the community that the Toll Group has advised that, as of 20 March 2026, there is currently no disruption to Norfolk Island’s fuel supply as a result of the conflict in the Middle East.
However, conditions may change as the situation evolves, and any impacts on the Island’s fuel supply will be communicated promptly to the community.
Council anticipates that the local community may feel the effects of rising fuel prices, similar to trends across mainland Australia.
While Council does not sell fuel directly to consumers, and fuel retailers independently set pump prices based on wholesale costs and operational expenses, Council recognises the importance of transparency and community confidence.
Further updates on the fuel supply and pricing will be provided as they become known.
