Norfolk Island Regional Council Animal Import Permit
In order to import an animal into Norfolk Island, you will need to comply with the following conditions:
- conditions set by Animals (Importation) Act 1983 (NI). Council’s role is to assess the appropriateness of certain dog breeds and animal species that are imported to the island. If you are importing a dog, please refer to the list of restricted and prohibited breeds found on the third page of the application form.

Fees
- An application fee of $95 for the importation of a dog, cat, or bird; $155 for the importation of a fish and $95 for all other animals.
- A yearly registration fee applies to all dogs in Norfolk Island. The fee is $95 for an entire dog and $39 for a neutered dog.
